Lubricate bearing positions and sliding surfaces with polycarbamide grease G 052 142 A2 .
1 - Selector lever handle
- Removing and installing
2 - Sleeve
- Engages in selector lever handle.
- Prevents selector lever handle from being pulled off
3 - Cover
- With symbol inlay
4 - Printed circuit board
- Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding".
5 - Frame
- With sliding cover
6 - Cable clip
7 - Retainer
- For selector lever cable.
- Pushed into front heat shield for tunnel
8 - Locking plate
- Secures selector lever cable to mounting bracket
- Always replace
9 - Selector lever cable
- Do not bend or kink.
- If protective sleeve is damaged, selector lever cable must be replaced
- Checking and adjusting, refer to Selector lever cable, checking and adjusting .
- Removing and installing, refer to Selector lever cable, removing and installing
- Do not grease cable eye and ball socket
10 - Flange nut
- 10 Nm
- Secures cover to mounting bracket
- Qty. 4
- Self-locking
- Always replace
11 - Cover
- For mounting bracket
- With bonded seal
12 - Hex bolt
13 - Locking pawl
- For selector lever lock
- Engages in cable lever for mounting bracket
14 - Shift Lock Solenoid N110
- Can be changed with selector mechanism installed.
- Removing and installing, refer to Shift Lock Solenoid N110 , removing and installing
- Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding".
15 - Mounting bracket
- Removing and installing, refer to Selector mechanism, removing and installing
16 - Locking cable
- For ignition key removal lock.
- Must not be kinked.
- Removing and installing, refer to Locking cable, removing and installing
- Adjusting, refer to Locking cable, adjusting
- Checking operation of ignition key withdrawal lock, refer to Ignition key withdrawal lock, checking operation
