Sealing Frame, Replacing

Sealing frame, removing
- Depending on equipment, remove trim and seats or seat benches
- Remove stop rail.







- Pry sealing frame - 1 - out of sliding window molding, or use pliers.

Sealing frame, installing
- Clean groove in sliding window molding.
- If necessary, shorten sealing frame.

NOTE: For corrosion protection and paint repair.

- Clean sealing frame with cleaning solution D 009 401 04 or equivalent and wipe dry with lint-free cloth.
- Install sealing frame with silicone adhesive compound (black) AMV 176 000 05 or equivalent and let cure under tension.
- Curing time approx. 8 hours.
