Trunk / Liftgate Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

Rear Lid Lock Cylinder, Removing


- Remove tailgate molded trim and/or remove tailgate trim.
- Remove rear lid lock mechanism.







- Remove lock washer - 1 - and rods,
- Drive out lock pin - 2 -.
- Remove casting - 3 - from four-cornered shaft.
- Remove spring.
- Insert key and remove lock cylinder.
