Mass Air Flow Sensor Replacement
When replacing Mass Air Flow Sensor G70 it is not necessary to automatically replace the wire harness terminals at the MAF Sensor connector. With the new MAF installed and engine running at idle, connect the VAS 5051 or 5052. Select address word 01 (engine), function (read measuring value block), display group 002 (MAF). Observe zone 4 while moving the engine harness at and around the MAF sensor connection. If the reading is unstable when moving the harness, repair as necessary. If the reading remains stable, no terminal end repairs are required.
