Fresh Air Mode Cannot Be Switched Off, RECIRCULATION Function Inoperative

Test fuses No. S6 (30-amp), S16 (15-amp) and SB14 (30-amp). If fuses are okay, check DTC memory with scan tool and verify no DTCs exist. Start engine and run at full vacuum. Select RECIRCULATING AIRFLOW at A/C control head. Check for blocked fresh air intake. If fresh air intake is blocked, check for open or short circuits in wiring to vacuum valve rail. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Check for closed fresh/recirculating vacuum air flap. If fresh/recirculating vacuum air flap is not functioning properly, check vacuum hoses. See Figure .
