Engine Identification

NOTE: This article applies to vehicle equipped with engine code AXK.

Engine identification is stamped on cylinder block, near vibration damper. See Fig 1 . In addition, the engine code and serial number are on a sticker on oil filler tube. Also engine code is listed on vehicle data plate. See Fig 2 .

NOTE: On some models, vehicle data plate may be attached to trim cover under lower left side of instrument panel.
