Read Measuring Value Block
NOTE:
The measuring value block is divided into 3 display group numbers. Assignment of the individual display fields can be found in the display group overview. See Fig 2
through Fig 7
.
- Connect scan tool. See Figure .
- Initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD). See INITIATING ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD)
under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Indicated on scan tool display:
- Rapid data transfer HELP
- Select function XX
- Press buttons "0" and "8" to initiate "Read measuring value block," function 08. Indicated on scan tool display:
- Rapid data transfer Q
- 08 Read measuring value block
- Press "Q" to confirm input. Indicated on scan tool display:
- Read measuring value block HELP
- Enter display group number XX
- Press buttons 0, 0 and 1 to select "Display group number 1". Press Q button to confirm input. Indicated on scan tool display:
- Read measuring value block 1
- 1 2 3 4
- To switch to different display group, press "C" button. Press either "1" or "3" buttons or press "C" button and now the desired display group number can be entered. See Fig 1 .
- After C button is pressed, the following appears:
- Read measuring value block HELP
- Enter display group number XXX
- Now the desired display group number can be entered.
NOTE:
Display group number 001 is used as an example to indicate procedure.
