Amplifier -R12-
WARNING:
Prior to working on the electrical system:
- Obtain the radio system anti-theft code.
- Switch off all electrical consumers.
- Switch off the ignition and remove the ignition key.
- Disconnect the battery. Refer to Removal and Installation .
The amplifier is located behind the left cowl panel cover in the luggage compartment.
Removal
-- Remove the rear cowl panel cover and the left luggage compartment side trim. Refer to Removal and Installation .
-- Remove nuts -1-.
-- Disconnect the connectors.
-- Push the amplifier up and remove it from the bracket.
Installation
-- Insert the lower part of the amplifier in the guide rail of the bracket.
-- Connect all harness connectors to the amplifier.
-- Screw nuts -1- on and tighten with 10 Nm.
-- Perform further installation in reverse order.
