Side Window, Adjusting: Notes

Side Inclination (Distance), Adjusting SIDE INCLINATION (DISTANCE), ADJUSTING 

NOTE:

Observe that flushness and joint between door window and side window is guaranteed.

If side inclination (side distance) is not suitable, it can be corrected via adjuster at carrier plate.

-- Lower side window to center position until combination nut is visible in installation opening -arrow-.

-- Loosen combination nut.

-- Raise door window until combination nut is visible in installation opening -arrows-.

-- Loosen combination nuts.

NOTE:

Side window can now be moved forward and backward as well as up and down.

-- Align side window -2- parallel with door window -1-. Dimension A: 9 mm

-- Press side window slightly into window guide -arrow B-.

-- Tighten combination nuts (8 Nm) through installation opening -arrows-.

-- Lower side window to center position until combination nut is visible in installation opening -arrow-.

-- Tighten combination nut.

Then perform function check.
