Supported Storage Media

Trouble-free function is assured only when the memory sticks, MP3 players and radios authorized by Volkswagen are used. The use of memory sticks or MP3 players from other manufacturers may not be guaranteed. However, the storage medium is to have one of the two USB certificates as a minimum requirement, refer to diagram.

Approved Radio:
Proper function is only guaranteed if an RCD-series Volkswagen radio or RNS-series Volkswagen navigation system was installed at the factory. Proper function is not guaranteed when using commercial radios.
