Battery, Checking: Notes

CAUTION:

In order to prevent damage to the Battery or vehicle, observe battery type descriptions and notes. Refer to BATTERY TYPES .

Perform battery checks in the following sequence: 

-- Visual check, refer to INSPECTING .

-- Battery with Visual Indicator, checking, refer to VISUAL INDICATOR, CHECKING COLOR  and Maintenance-Free Battery, checking, refer to LOW-MAINTENANCE BATTERY, CHECKING .

-- Battery no load voltage, testing, refer to BATTERY, VEHICLES IN STORAGE, CHECKING RESTING VOLTAGE .

-- Battery load test with battery tester with printer VAS 5097 A, refer to LOAD TEST .
