NOTE:
- The Diesel direct injection system control module is equipped with a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory. Check and erase the DTC memory before repair or, adjustment work → Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, checking and erasing and initiate the output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) → Output Diagnostic Test Mode, performing .
- Components marked with an asterisk (*) are checked via the On Board Diagnostic (OBD) program → Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, checking and erasing , checking and erasing DTC memory.
- Components marked with a double asterisk (**) can be checked with the output DTM → Output Diagnostic Test Mode, performing .
- Fuel hoses in engine compartment must only be secured with spring type clips. Do not use clamp or screw type clips.
- For trouble-free operation of the electrical components, a voltage of at least 11.5 V is necessary.
- During some checks it is possible that the control module will recognize and store a malfunction. Therefore, after completing all checks and repairs the DTC memory must be checked and, if necessary, erased → Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, checking and erasing , checking and erasing DTC memory and the readiness code generated → Readiness code, setting .
