Removal & Installation

  1. Using a screwdriver with a protected edge, carefully unclip control panel trim at 2 locations above and below control panel. Remove 2 instrument panel screws located behind trim. Pull unit from instrument panel.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. If unit was replaced, reprogram replacement CCM. See PROGRAMMING CLIMATRONIC CONTROL MODULE (CCM)  under PROGRAMMING. Operate system and check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTICS. Reset temperature regulator flap motor. See FLAP MOTOR BASIC SETTING  under PROGRAMMING.
