All Models with Immobilizer, New Keys Do Not Function
In the event that after adding additional keys to an immobilizer system the new keys do not function, check measuring block 023 in the instrument cluster. Field number 3 should be a 1 after using the key in question. If it is a 0 the key with the wrong type of transponder (wrong key) or a faulty key may be the problem.
