Below is a generic pin assignment for the Data Link connector. Some vehicles may be missing pins or have additional pins, so it is recommended to check the wiring diagram for the vehicle you are working on for specific information.

Pin Assignments:

1 - Terminal 15 Power (not present in all vehicles)
4 - Ground
5 - Ground
6 - Diagnostic CAN High (only present in vehicles with CAN bus)
7 - K-line
14 - Diagnostic CAN Low (only present in vehicles with CAN bus)
15 - L-line (not present in all vehicles)
16 - Terminal 30 Power
