Display Field No. 2

- Start engine. Ensure outside temperature is 54°F (12°C) or more. Select minimum heater output for front passengers with front temperature cold button. Display should show "1". If display is not as specified, check wiring and connectors in Brown/White wire between terminal No. 1 of Climatronic Control Module (CCM) harness connector "C" and terminal No. 2 of A/C refrigerant shut-off valve behind D-pillar trim panel. If wiring is okay, replace A/C refrigerant shutoff valve and go to next step.
- Set maximum front heater output with front temperature warm button. Ensure outside temperature is 54°F (12°C). Display should show a "0". If display is not as specified, check wiring between terminal No. 1 (Brown/White wire) of CCM 28-pin connector "C" and terminal No. 2 (Brown/Black wire) of auxiliary heater control valve (located on left of firewall). If display is not as specified, replace A/C refrigerant shut-off valve (located behind "D"pillar trim).
