DTC 1086: Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor Circuit

NOTE: If message NO CHECK POSSIBLE AT THIS TIME appears, vehicle has not been operated at a speed over 6.25 mph (10 KM/H) or diagnostic test mode was performed before checking DTC memory. This will be erased from display after ignition is turned off. After replacement, erase DTC memory, drive vehicle for more than 2 minutes in excess of 9.5 mph (15 KM/H). Turn engine off. Repeat sequence 3 times. If malfunction has not been repaired, DTC will reload into memory.

Check signal from speedometer vehicle speed sensor by reading measuring value block. See READING MEASURING VALUE BLOCK  under SYSTEM TESTS. Check wiring and connectors to speedometer vehicle speed sensor. If wiring and connectors are okay, replace speedometer vehicle speed sensor.
