DTC 00792: A/C Pressure Switch Circuit

NOTE: Message NO CHECK POSSIBLE AT THIS TIME indicates output diagnostic test mode (function 03) was carried out before DTC memory was checked and switch could not be tested because outside temperature was less than 54°F (12°C). This DTC will be erased from memory when ignition is switched off.

Check for open or short in wiring or connectors between A/C pressure switch and CCM. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, check for refrigerant system malfunction, such as overcharge, undercharge or condenser/evaporator blockage. Repair as necessary. If system is okay, go to next step.
Ensure ambient temperature is more than 54°F (12°C). Ensure ambient air temperature and fresh air intake duct temperature sensors are working properly. Check A/C pressure switch by reading measuring value block. See READING MEASURING VALUE BLOCK under SYSTEM TESTS. Repair or replace as necessary.
