DO NOT use engine coolant anti-freeze or any other solution that can damage the vehicle paint.
Since clear water is usually not adequate for cleaning the glass, a cleaning solution should be added to the water. Winterized windshield washer solvent during the cold season to keep the windshield clean and prevents the fluid from freezing in the winter.
