Vacuum Check: EuroVan
- On EuroVan, vacuum pump is located in engine compartment near battery and windshield washer reservoir.
- On all models, remove instrument panel trim on driver's side. Remove vacuum hose from vacuum pump. Seal end of vacuum hose. Using hand pressure, depress brake pedal until resistance is felt. Release brake pedal.
- Observe throttle control element located above brake pedal. Throttle control element must not move. If throttle control element moves, repair vacuum system as necessary. Leaks may be caused by incorrectly adjusted vent valves, leaking servo unit or faulty vacuum hoses.
