Main headlights
Low beam setting:
New test screen (without 15 setting line)
Adjust headlights so that the light/dark border touches setting line -1- on the screen. Breakpoint -2-, between the left (horizontal) area and the right (rising) area of the light/dark border must align with central mark -3-. The bright spot of the light beam will fall to the right of central mark -3-.
NOTE:
To make it easier to find the break point, cover and uncover the left half of the headlight alternately (in direction of travel). Then check low beam again.
High beam setting:
After correctly adjusting low beam, the center of the high beam must be on the central mark -3-, refer to CHECKING HEADLIGHT ADJUSTMENT .
- Older test screen (with 15 °setting line)
- When using this screen to adjust low beam, ignore 15 °setting line.
