Programming CLIMATRONIC Control Module (CCM)

NOTE: Replacement Climatronic Control Module must be programmed after installation. A/C-heater control panel will flash for 15 seconds if module has not been programmed.
  1. Connect Scan Tool (VAG 1551) to Data Link Connector (DLC) located under left side of instrument panel. Input address word 08, AC/HEATING ELECTRONICS. Press right arrow button until SELECT FUNCTION XX appears on display. Press buttons "0" and "7" to select CODING CONTROL MODULE. Press "Q" button to confirm input.
    NOTE: Code entered will not be loaded into Climatronic Control Module until ignition has been switched off once.
  2. Scan tool will display ENTER CODE NUMBER XXXXX. Using scan tool button pad, enter code 01000. Confirm entry with "Q" button. Scan tool should display control module coding (CODING 01000) and part number. Press right arrow button. Scan tool will display SELECT FUNCTION XX. Enter end output function. See ENDING OUTPUT  under SELF-DIAGNOSTICS. Perform flap motor basic setting after programming. See BASIC SETTING  .
