1998 Golf, Jetta, Cabrio, A/C System Repair
Currently we have the following concerns with 1) A/C hose part # 1H1 820 743P separating at crimping. 2) A/C hose Part # 1HM 820 721 rubbing against fan motor cover. 3) Condenser part # 1HM 820 413B rubbing against front end lock carrier. In all cases the A/C system has been opened, therefore the receiver dryer has to be replaced. See Technical Bulletin: group 87 # 93-02 for details.
