DTC 00519/2222: Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor

  1. Check all hose connections and hoses for damage or leaks. Repair as necessary. If hoses are okay, press keys "0" and "8" on scan tool to select function 08 READ MEASURING VALUE BLOCK. Confirm by pressing "Q" key. Press keys "1" and "0" to select DISPLAY GROUP NUMBER 10. Confirm by pressing "Q" key.
  2. Using scan tool, compare barometric pressure sensor with Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP). If pressures are about the same, system is okay. If pressures are not about the same, compare pressure display with a Turbocharger Tester (VAG 1397/A). If values still are not the same, remove pressure hose from ECM. Press right arrow key on scan tool. Press "0" and "6" keys to select function "06" END DATA TRANSFER. Confirm by pressing "Q" key. Replace DFI ECM.
