DTC 00765/1412: Modulating Piston Displacement Sensor

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect fuel temperature sensor connector. Measure resistance between fuel temperature sensor connector terminals No. 1 and 2, and between No. 2 and 3. If resistance is 5-7 ohms, go to next step. If resistance not 5-7 ohms, replace injection pump.
  2. Check wiring for an open circuit. Repair as necessary. If wiring is okay, replace DFI ECM.
