Battery Disconnect Precautions

Obtain radio anti-theft code before disconnecting battery ground strap.

Make sure that the ignition is switched off before disconnecting or connecting the battery otherwise the Diesel Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) Engine Control Module (ECM) -J248- may be damaged.
