Description & Operation

The power windows can be operated only when ignition switch is in the ON position. If ignition is turned off, the windows still operate for about 10 minutes as long as one of the doors has not been opened.

The driver's master switch assembly controls both of the front power windows. Passenger's power window switches control only their respective power window motor. The power window safety switch, if equipped, keeps rear power windows from operating.

Automatic closing/opening feature permits window to be fully close/open without holding switch. Inserting key in driver's or front passenger's door lock permits power windows to be opened or closed (including sun roof) from the outside (convenience open/close feature).
