Function Test Mode
- Turn ignition on. Depress trip odometer button.
- Turn ignition on and off again while keeping the button depressed. The number of the selected function and its value are shown in display window. Press trip odometer button to display the next function. See Fig 1 .
- If the value does not agree with the distance impulse number in the chart, the driven distance is incorrectly calculated. If the country code "4" or cylinder number displayed value does not agree with chart, the circuit board must be replaced. Turn ignition off to exit function test mode.
- Keep in mind that the instrument cluster is equipped with various components and instruments, depending on vehicle equipment options. The function test mode helps determine if the instrument cluster is equipped with the proper electronic components and instruments.
