NOTE: Make sure that the code number displayed corresponds to the code number that has been entered.

New coding must be indicated on display

NOTE:
  • To activate the coding, switch the ignition off, then back on.
  • If, after entering a valid code number, the ignition is not switched off and on, "ECM incorrectly coded" will be stored in DTC memory and cannot be erased.

NOTE: The coding entered and indicated on the display will not be used by the Diesel DFI ECM until the ignition has been switched off once.
NOTE: Incorrect coding leads to:
  • Engine running malfunctions
  • Increased fuel consumption
  • Malfunctions are stored in DTC memory that did not actually occur
  • Reduced transmission life
