Front Axle

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2003 Volkswagen EuroVan, 2002 Volkswagen EuroVan, 2001 Volkswagen EuroVan, 2000 Volkswagen EuroVan, and 1999 Volkswagen EuroVan. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
    NOTE: Camber adjustment bolt connection is shown without wheel installed.
  1. Loosen bolt "a". See Fig 1 . To loosen and tighten with wheel installed, turn steering as necessary.
  2. Loosen nut "b". Modify 3252 box wrench (46 mm) as shown in illustration. See Fig 2 . Adjust eccentric socket "A" until the specified value has been reached using special tool (3252A). See Fig 3 .
  3. While counter holding eccentric nut, tighten nut "b" to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Tighten bolt "a" to specification. After fasteners are torqued, recheck all wheel alignment settings and readjust as necessary.
