Fuel Systems

- Do not operate electric fuel pump without fuel. Pump is lubricated by fuel.
- On fuel injected models do not depress the accelerator pedal while trying to start the car.
- Do not use engine oil, gear lubricant or brake fluid to lubricate fuel system connections and O-rings.
- Handle all fuel injection related parts with care as they may easily be damaged.
- Use new gaskets or Of-rings when installing fuel lines or injectors.
- Lightly lubricate Of-rings and flare connections with gasoline.
- After servicing fuel system check for leaks and correct as needed.
