Steering Column: Notes
WARNING:
On Cabriolet with Supplemental Restraint System (air bag), remove air bag from vehicle before working on steering column. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM
in AIR BAG RESTRAINTS article. Failure to remove air bag may result in personal injury.
CAUTION:
The height-adjustable steering column cannot be disassembled. If steering column, column tube, or universal joint is damaged, replace the assembly as a unit.
