Toe

1. Remove front bolt from steering rack cover, then attach centering tool 3075 or equivalent over mounting nut of left tie rod.
2. Remove bolt from spacer on chain of centering tool, then put spacer under hole marked ``L'' and insert bolt through hole and hole in spacer and tighten to steering gear. On vehicles with power steering, it is advisable to install bolt from underside of vehicle.
3. Measure and divide total toe in half, then loosen clamps and outer locknuts on both tie rods.
4. Turn both tie rods until specified setting for toe is obtained.
5. Tighten clamps and locknuts on tie rods, then remove centering tool and torque front bolt from steering rack cover to 15 ft. lbs.
