Steering Column: Removal
- Remove horn pad and steering wheel. Remove column covers. Disconnect combination switch wires. Remove combination switch.
- Using a puller, remove steering lock and spacer sleeve. Remove upper steering shaft-to-upper flange clamp bolt.
- Remove lower column clamp bolts. Remove upper column retaining bolts. Remove upper steering shaft and column tube as an assembly.
- Remove lower flange-to-lower steering shaft clamp bolt. Remove dust boot-to-floorboard bolts. Remove lower steering shaft.
