The power windows work only when the ignition is on. However if the ignition is switched off, you can still operate the windows for about an hour as long as the driver's or passenger's door has not been opened.

To open the windows, briefly push the bottom half of the respective switch and release. The window will automatically open all the way. If you want to stop the window while it is opening, push the switch again and release. If you want to open more than one window simultaneously, the windows will automatically open following the same sequence that you depressed the switches.

To close the windows, push the top half of the respective switch and hold. If your release the switch, the window will stop. You can also close the windows centrally with your ignition key. After making sure that the windows are not obstructed, insert the key into the lock in the driver's door of passenger's door, turn and hold in the lock position. The rear windows and the passenger's window will close first followed by the driver's window.
