Replacing Blow-Off Valve

Allow engine to cool. Disconnect outlet hose from blow-off valve and loosen clamp securing valve to intake manifold. For installation, reverse removal procedure. Always use a new "O" ring.

TURBOCHARGER BOOST PRESSURE

Mode (1) Pressure: psi (kg/cm2 )
Max. Pressure, Regulated By Wastegate (Boost) 9.3-10.4 (.65-.73)
Max. Intake Manifold Pressure Allowed By Blow-Off Valve 11.2-12.6 (.79-.89)
(1) Above atmospheric pressure.
