On-Board Diagnostic System (DIGIFANT II - CALIFORNIA Only)

"On-Board Diagnostic System" recognizes both ignition and fuel injection system fault. The control unit for the Digifant II system is equipped with an erasable permanent memory which stores and displays any faults that could cause the vehicle to fail an exhaust emission inspection.

Fault codes appear on indicator switch labeled "Check", located on instrument panel. If a fault is detected and stored in the control unit, fault light will illuminate after one minute.
