Installation

1. Lightly lubricate the input shaft splines with lithium grease or equivalent.
2. Clean mating surfaces of engine and transmission, then lightly coat with silicone sealer 176 005 05 or equivalent prior to installing.
3. Grease needle roller bearing in crankshaft.
4. Install the transmission in reverse order of removal.
5. Tighten mounting bolts of front final drive last.
6. Torque all bolts according to their specifications.
