Fuel Delivery Rate Test

- Disconnect fuel return line at pressure regulator and plug line.
- Attach suitable hose to return line fitting on pressure regulator and place other end of hose in suitable calibrated container.
- Remove relay C
- Connect switched jumper wire tool No. US 4480/3 or equivalent, to terminals 30 and 87.
- Turn jumper wire switch ON for 30 seconds.
Minimum delivery rate: 500 cc (16.9 oz) in 30 seconds

If Not, before replacing fuel pump:
Check that fuel filter is not blocked
Check that fuel pump ground connections are good
Check that voltage to pump is at least 11.5 volts
