Throttle Full Open Switch: Adjustments

2. Install protractor (tool 3084) to the secondary throttle shaft, and a pointer to the throttle housing.
2. Disconnect the electrical harness plug from the switch, and use an ohmmeter to find the switching point of the switch.
3. Open the throttle to the full throttle stop and zero the pointer.
4. Close the throttle about 30°, and then open slowly.
5. Throttle switch should trip at 10° +/- 2° before full throttle.
6. Adjust the switching point by loosening the attachment screws and moving the switch until the switching point is correct.
