Air Flow Sensor Plate Position Sensor: Description and Operation

The air flow sensor potentiometer is used to signal the need for extra enrichment during cold engine part throttle acceleration. The sensor informs the ECU how far, and how fast the sensor plate moves as the air flow increases.
