Basic Adjustment

Fig. 12 Air Flow Sensor Arm Basic Adjustment:

The basic adjustment of the sensor plate control lever is performed ONLY when replacing the fuel distributor or air flow sensor.
1. Check the distance between the contact surfaces for the fuel distributor on the air flow sensor and roller on the sensor plate lever.
2. Adjust if necessary using the CO adjustment screw.
Distance should be 21.3 + 0.1 mm (0.84 + 0.004 in).
NOTE: This adjustment is only an initial setting, and will change once CO is adjusted.
