Glow Plug System: Description and Operation

The glow plug indicator lamp has two functions. The first is to show that the glow plug system is operating. This function occurs after the ignition key is turned to the run position and is characterized by a steadily glowing light. The second function is an indicator that the water separator needs to be drained. A blinking glow plug lamp is used for this function.
