Fuel Pump Test
- Remove fuel pump relay from fuse/relay block. Ensure Fuel Pump Tester (US 4480/3) is turned off and insert in place of relay. See Fig 1
Remove fuel tank cap. Remove rear seat and cover.
- Disconnect and plug fuel supply hose. Attach a hose to fuel pump and place other end of hose in a graduated container. Turn tester on for 10 seconds. Compare volume with specifications.
