Steering Column: Removal
- Remove horn button and steering wheel. Remove column covers. Disconnect column switch wires. Remove column switch. Remove steering lock and spacer sleeve with a puller.
- Remove clamp bolt retaining upper steering shaft to upper flange. Remove lower column clamp bolts. Remove upper column retaining bolts. Remove upper steering shaft and column tube as an assembly.
- Remove lower flange-to-lower steering shaft clamp bolt. Remove dust boot-to-floorboard bolts. Remove lower steering shaft.
