Repair and Diagnosis: Transmission: Clutches: Description

The clutch is a single disc, dry diaphragm spring type. The clutch is hydraulically operated by a firewall mounted master cylinder and a slave cylinder mounted on the clutch housing. The slave cylinder is nonadjustable. The clearance is automatically compensated for by the internal design of the slave cylinder.

Transmission model identification code is located on left rear side of transmission case. First 3 numbers of code indicate transmission model.
