Overhaul - V.A.G. Type 020: Identification

Volkswagen vehicle transaxles are identified by a type number (020) as well as a 3 letter suffix (ACN). This information is stamped on lower side of transaxle case, adjacent to left axle drive flange. Code letter and production date information is also available on a machined surface located on the upper portion of the engine-to-transaxle mating surface.
