Air Flow Meter Test

  1. Turn ignition switch off. Unplug air hose and electrical connector from air flow meter. Connect ohmmeter to terminals 3 and 4 of air flow meter. Resistance should be approximately 560 ohms. Terminals 6 and 9 have the same resistance.
  2. Connect ohmmeter to terminals 2 and 3. Resistance should change when moving sensor plate. Test result should be the same for terminals 7 and 9. Replace air flow meter if it fails any resistance test.
