Brake Band
With transmission in a horizontal position adjust brake band. Tighten 2nd gear brake band adjusting screw to 84 INCH lbs. (10 N.m). Loosen adjusting screw, then tighten again to 48 INCH lbs. (5 N.m). Back off screw 2 1/2 turns, then tighten lock nut to 168 INCH lbs. (19 N.m).
