Choke Pull-Down

  1. Set adjusting screw for fast idle speed on top step of fast idle cam. Connect manually operated vacuum pump to pull-down unit, and apply vacuum. Pressing gently, close choke valve slightly.
  2. Check gap between lower end of choke valve and inner wall of the air horn. Gap should be .164" (4.2 mm). Adjust gap at adjustment screw located under plug in pull-down diaphragm cover. After adjustment, install a new plug.
